James and I met in pre-primary but only started dating at the end of Year 12. We are both musicians and ending up studying together at WAAPA. After studying together we did long distance for 2 years while I completed my Master of Music in the UK. We both thought it would be really hard but we handled it really well until James moved over at the end of my degree. James and I had never lived together before moving to UK and on the first night in our first home together James proposed to me. It was so perfect and intimate. A lot of people thought it would be challenging to plan a wedding from overseas but it actually made it a lot easier. About a month before the wedding we flew back to Perth. It was great to see all our family and friends before the wedding, we barely had a spare few minutes. We spent the day before apart and I had a great last night with my little sister wearing matching pjs and watching TV. James spent the night before at the Crown Towers relaxing before the big day. The day of the wedding James and the boys met up at the Crown to have a drink before leaving for the church. At my parents house the scene was a bit different. We were all up at 6am to get our glam done. My sister, Colleen, did the hair (HairMastery) and her friend did the make up (Mint Makeup Artist). We hired a limo for the bridal party from Allure Limousines and James and I rode in a cadillac that belonged to my dads friend. The ceremony was at St Michael The Archagel Chapel, I was played in by the lovely Dolce Ensemble and my sister Sian (Soprano) along with Michael Peters (organist) also performed during the ceremony. We were lucky enough for there to be no weddings after ours, so we were able to stay as long as we wanted for photos  on the beautiful grounds of the church. We then headed to the beach which was a bit of an effort with my dress but made for some beautiful photos. Then we went to Ambrose Estate to have our tea ceremony and reception. The reception was beautifully decorated by Denise from Lumin8 and the DJ from Western Sounds was great playing all our favourite 90s and 00s hits. It was the perfect day and it really could not have gone any better.
